The story of
Cidex A/S

In 1993, Cidex a/s produced the first rustic candles in rented premises in Farum. After that, things went fast and the premises became too small. Cidex a/s moved to new and larger premises in Måløv in 1996, where they expanded production to include candles and block candles. The first robot was installed in 2008, and since then the technological development has increased. In 2010, Cidex a/s purchased its own premises with larger production and storage capacity at the current address in Smørum, and at the same time invested in additional robots for production.

After a fire in 2013, the facilities in Smørum were rebuilt and today Cidex a/s is a 100% fully automated production company with a focus on quality, efficiency, flexibility and environmental responsibility, with a capacity to produce more than 80 million candles annually.
